YOGA and SHIATSU HOLIDAY in KOH RA ECOLODGE, THAILAND
Two dates available:
14 - 22 Jan 2012 or 28 Jan - 5 Feb 2012
Come and experience the natural beauty and peace of Koh Ra Island while you treat yourself to daily yoga and shiatsu massage practice.
Two and half hours by taxi from Phuket and a 25 minute boat ride and you have reached Koh Ra Ecolodge, an amazing place in the heart of the most natural stretch of coastline remaining in Thailand.
We will be staying in simple but beautiful, eco friendly, bamboo bungalows. Imagine waking up to the sound of the gibbons and birds, then going for a kayak ride to greet the rising sun and the awakening jungle, then back for yoga practice on the sea front …what a way to start the day!
Explore the pristine jungle, private beach, coral reefs and hidden bays… snorkelling, diving, bird watching, hiking and sea kayaking are just few of your options… or you might just want to relax and let the beauty of this place sink in.
In the late afternoon we will meet again to experience shiatsu, learning the foundations of this ancient holistic Japanese massage technique.
Three delicious meals will be served at the on-site restaurant, featuring fresh and healthy Thai classics and fusion cuisine. Meals are eaten family (buffet) style with everyone convening at the sala, where the chef has prepared a feast of dishes.
Finish your day to the sound of the sea waves, sipping a freshly prepared fruit cocktail… this will definitely be an unforgettable holiday!
The holiday is suitable to everyone.

A little more about Koh Ra Ecolodge:
Koh Ra Ecolodge is run with the highest regard to conservation, sustainability, and reduce-reuse-recycle.
Koh Ra facilities include 18 bamboo huts, a restaurant and large sala (traditional Thai open air lodge) tucked in the jungle just back from the beach, and new yoga sala in 2011 with sea view.
Each room has a private bath with western toilet and shower. Rooms have either a large queen size bed or two single beds. A large covered patio is shared for each house of two or three rooms.
All this is set on a private bay and beach with about 40 acres of preserved primary jungle of Koh Ra.
These facilities have been constructed and are run as an example of an ecologically sound way to use land in this fragile coastal habitat.
